As if things weren't chaotic enough at the Applegate household, on Nov. 29 we welcomed a new fur family member. Gus Gus was 8 weeks old at the time and was quickly initiated into the holiday hat photo session.

He took the festive torture like a pro and even had the sad puppy eyes pose down.
 | He's growing like a bad weed and getting along with everyone else. He's still not too sure about steps though.  Meanwhile, elder St. Bernard Sherman was not spared the humiliation of a holiday hat. Clem was also subject to the holiday hat horror show. |
Additionally Sadie, was not spared from the photographic persecution.
Lil' Bit could not contain his disdain.
  | The goats managed to escape the shameful holiday tradition this year. However, Kyle was still not thrilled about being photographed while eating. Meanwhile, Kennedy turned the tables on me. While I was shooting him readjusting one of the trail cameras, he photographed me photographing him. |
 | The only real cooperative holiday photo shoot participant was the lighted goat decoration in the front yard. That's just the nature of things 'round here. Merry Christmas one and all! |
